Coach Eddie Bratton grew up a military brat and found his passion playing soccer while moving around the world. He started playing at the age of 8 in Alexandria, Louisiana at England Air Force Base where his dad was stationed. His family moved to Hampton, Va. where he continued to play soccer for Hampton Roads Soccer Club and Hampton High School. At the end of 10th grade his dad was stationed to Lakenheath AFB in England.
Juno’s passion with soccer began at the tender age of three. Growing up in Gabon, Central Africa, he quickly developed a passion for the sport that would shape his life. Soccer became his world, a constant source of joy and ambition. His formative years were spent at St. Martin School, where he honed his skills and dreamed of playing at higher levels.
In 2008, Juno’s journey took a significant turn when he moved to Alexandria, Louisiana. The move did not dampen his enthusiasm for soccer; rather, it provided new opportunities for him to showcase his talent. Juno played for Brame Jr. High and later for Bolton High School, where he made a name for himself with his impressive performances on the field.
His dedication and skill earned him a spot at Louisiana State University Alexandria (LSUA), where he continued to excel. At LSUA, Juno’s passion for soccer was evident in every game he played, and he became a key player for the team. His time at the university not only helped him develop as a player but also as an individual, preparing him for the challenges ahead.
After college, Juno’s soccer career progressed to the semi-professional level. He played for LA KREWE in Lafayette and the Raptors in Shreveport, competing against some of the best talent in the region. These experiences further refined his abilities and deepened his love for the sport.
Throughout his journey, Juno has been inspired by many players, but his favorite remains Ricardo Kaká from Brazil. Kaká’s skill, sportsmanship, and dedication to the game resonate deeply with Coach Juno, influencing his style of play and his approach to soccer.
Juno’s story is one of passion, perseverance, and the pursuit of excellence. From his early days in Gabon to his achievements on the fields of Louisiana, he continues to live and breathe soccer, driven by the same love for the game that started when he was just a young boy.
